Mission of the Alaska Veterans Museum

Create a world-class museum to preserve and interpret weapons,
uniforms and artifacts for the inspiration, remembrance and
preservation of veterans, especially Alaska veterans.
• Educate the public on Service men and women’s operations,
sacrifices and stories. Research library available.
• Support our Active Duty, Guard, Reserves and Veterans
• “Alaska Veterans” book by Col Suellyn Wright Novak on stories
within the museum. All proceeds donated to the museum.
• Winter hours: Wed-Sat 10a-5p; Summer hours: Mon-Sat 10a-5p
