We invite you to take a trip through history by visiting our exhibits that cover Alaska’s Military History, spanning from the last shot of the Civil War through modern conflicts.

Our Mission

  • Create a museum for the inspiration, remembrance and preservation of the memory of veterans and of their sacrifices for America’s freedom.
  • Educate the general public through the collection, presentation, and exhibition of artifacts, personal accounts and historical acts relating to the history of our veterans.
  • Promote activities that will enhance or support the purpose of the Museum.
  • Support our veterans, active duty, Guard and Reserve members.​
